From Calgary | Kananaskis Private Hiking Tour: Canmore Area
Customize your day of adventure in the rugged Kananaskis-Canmore corridor with this co-designed tour. From secluded canyons to high-alpine vistas, we immerse you in the landscape and lifestyle of one of Alberta's most desirable mountain towns.
Introduction
Leave the city skyline behind for a day of immersion in the rugged front range of the Rockies. This private journey takes you from the rolling prairies of Calgary into the heart of the Canmore corridor for a day of active discovery. While the nearby National Parks draw the crowds, the Canmore and Kananaskis region offers the same raw, jagged beauty but at a quieter, more intentional pace.
This is a personalized, co-designed adventure, tailored to your group. To ensure the day matches your specific preferences, after booking you can either complete a 5-minute questionnaire or schedule a 20-minute call with our lead guide as part of our Discovery Process.
Crafting Your Personalized Itinerary:
While our Ready-Made tours follow a signature, curated format, our Co-Design experiences are personalized to each individual group.

What You’ll Experience:
- Canmore - Peak Mountain Living: We'll explore the dramatic scenery surrounding Canmore, including the iconic Three Sisters peaks and the historic landmarks that tell the story of this former coal mining town turned mountain paradise.
- Iconic Rockies Landscapes: We traverse the diverse geography of the Bow Valley - a lush mountain tapestry of lakes, rivers, canyons and mountain peaks - flanking its namesake, the Bow River. Our journey is framed by some of the most famous limestone massifs in Canada, including Mount Rundle, Mount Lawrence Grassi, and the towering Ha Ling Peak.
- Active Discovery: We move at your pace to experience the scale of the Rockies firsthand. Be it from high-vantage ridgelines or on quieter forest paths, we ensure your day is spent immersed in the landscape rather than watching it all from a window.
- Premium Transit: Relax in the exclusive comfort of our vehicle while your guide handles all navigation, storytelling, and park logistics.
