LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

As visitors on these lands, MOLARI acknowledges that our journeys across Treaty 7 territory and neighbouring traditional lands in Alberta and British Columbia, including the areas now known as Banff, Kootenay, and Yoho National Parks, Kananaskis Country, and Calgary (Moh’kinstsis), take place on the traditional homelands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Îyâxe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda Nations), the Tsuut’ina Nation, the Ktunaxa Nation, and the Secwépemc Peoples. Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta (Districts 5 and 6).
